Attending the Melton Mowbray Vintage Weekend was a brilliant opportunity to celebrate heritage, craftsmanship and community spirit in one of Leicestershire’s most characterful market towns.

Across the weekend, visitors enjoyed an eclectic mix of classic vehicles, vintage traders, retro treasures and artisan makers. The atmosphere was full of nostalgia and energy, with beautifully restored cars, live music and a steady flow of visitors creating a warm and welcoming experience throughout.

This was our first event trading as Woods ware, and it marked an important milestone for us. We were delighted to introduce our work in utility ware, share pieces from Beryl by Woods Ware, and talk more about the wider world of woods pottery. It was genuinely special to meet so many amazing people over the course of the weekend – each conversation, story and piece of feedback made the experience even more meaningful.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to the organisers for putting together such a friendly, well-run and vibrant event. The welcoming atmosphere made it an absolute pleasure to be part of, and we truly appreciate the care and effort that went into creating such a positive environment for traders and visitors alike.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Woods ware stand to say hello, support us, and treat yourselves to a few Beryl goodies. Meeting you all made the weekend incredibly special, and we’re very much looking forward to the next opportunity to share more from Wood’s ware, Beryl by Woods Ware, utility ware, and Wood’s pottery. 💚
